I have seen sunsets and sun rises
But neither can compare to the sight of your beauty.
I miss you,
as the sun misses the flower,
as the sun misses the flower in the winter.
The flowers beauty cannot arise
Without having a light to shine upon it.
I thrive on hope.
Hope that when you leave my sight
My heart will not be crushed by
the darkness of the night.
My heart is shattered.
The pieces of my heart so small
They shall be able to pass through a needle.
Without you I am a gray flower in the grayest of worlds.
I shall win your heart
With my fist and the flanks of my horse.
She is my love
My Venus.
Her love is nothing
but my drug.
It attracts me
as a bee is attracted to a flowers pollen.
I give so much passion
eternity cannot grasp it.
The closer you get to something
the harder it is to see it.
I must move on
but on to what?
First love poem,
David m.
