The Season

I’m wondering how are we going to do,
like the Cavaliers when they had a perfect season,
or not
good amount of wins,
or not
make it to the finals like the year before
or not?
To do that, practice, like anything in life
play mature and play like professionals
all of us thinking of that one thing “championship”
I know I am but is the team ready?
I’m hungry to win like a lion that hasn’t eaten for weeks
while I wonder about the results of the first game
paying attention to the plays
so we don’t look sloppy
make the first game a easy ride for us
like riding on a straight roller coaster.
Things like that don’t happen often
just follow little footsteps like
making in baskets like Lebron James
getting rebounds like Dwight Howard
making great passes like Chris Paul
with all that the score board in our side goes point by point straight up.
Earning a championship like the Boston Celtics
to just earning things in life
we just need that extra push.
I have a lot on my shoulders
I got to run the team the “point guard”
I can’t be scared for that extra push
I need to show responsibility
If I do, do those things
I can make it!
With all that I have my team
just like family
Always there and ready to
Help you up when you fall
Or guide you through your struggle
Keep your head up and high
Show you can do it
Just like US.
