I fly
Damn I wish I died
Can’t breathe
To my beat
Can’t speak
My rhymes
I fight can't start
Crying
I'm a man
I am what they
Want me to be
I hate riding in the same
Tracks
Can't get off till
The end of the ride
My ups
And
My downs

Stabs me in the back
Or kisses me on the front
When I get off
I'm running my
Own ride

I Have Sinned

Today I have spoken too many words and yesterday I said too little
bite the hand that fed you or kill he who stands in the middle.
I planted a garden with dead flowers because of my grave dug beneath
why love somebody, who one day will bury you six deep.
I have shed my own blood from the past that i've reaped.
I say "i hate who I once loved and love who i still hate."
my world will come too an end, but I will control the date.
Father know what to do with me for I have sinned today
give me my cross for this is my price to pay.
I give reason, I pierced the heart that pumps my blood, my blood that runs blue
I have brung shame to my name and ripped the flesh that I am "De La Cruz."
By testimony I still say that this man I do love, with my mother he set away
to breathe a new breath, to make the man I am today.
So i must go and cannot stay
a burdened individual, this is my price to pay
I stay strong in the guilt of my sin
That death seeks today!

Picturesque

Eyes blocked with huge sunglasses
The heat radiates off my skin
The tranquil sound of the waves
Stomach exposure
Like a model
Leg exposure
Like an actress
Brown bikini
Like a singer
Hair perfectly placed
With no strands left behind
I’m living this moment
Taking in as much pigment as my body can hold
Then the main source drifts away
In two seconds the whole place
Is drowned
I recede into the billows
Where my fantasy will resume

Mess up

Hate when they’re gone

I’ve got three custom-made
BMWs,
Diamonds
Gripping my neck,
A mansion with a hundred and sixty
Acres

But it’s nothing when they’re gone

I’ve gone to Las Vegas,
And won thousands playing poker,
To L.A.,
Drag-raced down Sunset Boulevard,
To Jamaica,
Partied on the beach
In front of my resort

But it’s nothing when they’re not around

Which one do you wish you had?
Fame, power, wealth,
Or the girl?
Should you mess up
Or go find the real world?

Shores of Peace

A blanket of water
that I look at intently as it lies on the sand
I see the peaceful receding waves
ascend through the great blue
but as I continue to staring
the last thing I think about is
calm

I hear the brutal roars from the seas
as they cry out for help
each day I witness them
getting polluted
as mother nature’s plane
takes flight
and brings in filth
from across the world

Boots crawling to the shore
baby whales washed up on the beach
Budweiser bottles gasping for air
sea turtles whose necks are caught by plastic rings
license plates scattering
a school of fish fleeing as a shark stalks them

But to people
it’s a picturesque scene
at first
an attraction
a roller coaster
a museum exhibit
seeing the fish swimming freely
but as they continue to stare
the last thing they think about is
calm

Views

It is early morning,
The sun is just rising,
½ circle brightly standing
Behind the shadows of the skyscrapers
In the sky.

Beep! Beep!
Get out of my way! he yells .
His blue Yankees hat almost falling out the window.
He turns at 60 mph
The back wobbles like a school of jellyfish
Being attacked by sharks
With blood dripping from her jaws.

I guess I’ll catch the next one
But you can never catch a taxi here.
Everyone hates paying for the gas
Tons of people walk,
And others talk,
I’m here alone.
Taking everything in.

It’s late at night
The sun just set
The moon is out,
Behind the shadow of the skyscrapers
In the sky.

Untainted

I looked at him.
When we were standing in the white room quietly.
He also started to look at me.
His wide glaring eyes
were red hell mocking me.
I mocked him back with my sharp eyes of tundra ice.
We stand there in the white room that was smooth and soft.
He comes closer and takes out a needle.
Nowhere to run from him.
White room is empty, I'm not crazy anymore.

Night and Morning
The light created the dark.
I fear it.
Nothing can get me, but my imagination.
Why am I afraid?
It is just the shadow of a reflection
There’s no reason to fear the dark
The light creates it
I walk under the moon glow
Half-light, Half-dark
On the dark side I see shadows and destruction
On the light theirs is a picturesque kingdom with angels
I fight to get free
In the end I will be relentless until the time comes
One shall conquer my body
I pray for it to be all over
And for this fight to end to end my pain and sorrows.

The Magic Touch
The strings humming in my ear
I dribble the ball side to side
Off the Heee-z with a flick of a wrist
The stacatto note nailed with a flick of a wrist
The team moves up
The bows slide up
Wrist stays smooth
The crowd goes off!
