Justin’s Collection of Haikus

In the spring
Sleeping trees awake
To new colors

Storm at sea
But life is peaceful
Below the waves

Turtle walks
Carefully planning
His next step

Wandering traveler
Ambles through a wood
Of which he is unfamiliar

Old, wise stump
Sits in a forest of
Young, nimble trees

Gentle spring
Flowing over bumps
In its path

After flames
Saplings are found
Below the ashes

Polluted water
Is given a chance by
A cleansing stream

Dying tree
Is given new hope
By a sudden rain

Comforting breeze
Passes over many places
But always moves on
