I

I wear a mask of lies
and talk with a tongue of pure silver.
I will gaze at you with pearls as eyes
and am outfitted with rubies and saphires.
I live in a house of gold
with a door of diamonds.
But under all my fanatasies
and fictional dreams is just a
plain man with a plain house.
With nothing to do but wait
for my dreams to become reality.
