SUN

IT’S BIG
ITS VERY BRIGHT
THE WHOLE WORLD CAN SEE IT
YELLOW, ORANGE
FAR AWAY
OUT OF SPACE

DOES IT DISAPPEAR WHEN IT’S MAD AT US?
IT GIVES US LIGHT WHEN IT’S HAPPY
IT CONTROLS US
WE PRAY EVERYDAY TO YOU
WILL, YOU ANSWER OUR PRAYERS
WE WILL DO ANYTHING YOU SAY
YOU ARE OUR WORLD

IT`S A BRIGHT LIL PRINCESS WAITING FOR HER PRINCE AT THE BALL
YOU ARE DANCING
YOU ARE LAUGHING
YOU WILL SHINE ON IT

YOU CAN SPEND IT LIKE GOLD
IT’S THAT SPECIAL TO YOU
YOU WILL NEVER WANT TO WASTE IT

OR GO AWAY

Such delightful images here. I like the way you used the double meaning of the word 'ball' in your poem too. Your descriptions remind the reader of that reverent feeling we often have toward the sun.
