Customer Service

Sir I’m sorry to inform you that I am not able to help you
Well
Not really
I don’t care too much
I’ll still get paid $7 an hour
Whether I help you or not
No one will really care if I don’t help you
No one will say
Why didn’t you help Mr. What’s-his-face?
It doesn’t really matter if I help you
I won’t get paid a cent less

Well maybe I would
I might get fired
Then I won’t have a job
Or money
Or a house
Or food
Or clothes
Or anything
Sir I am very sorry how may I help you

Your poem really touches a neve with a lot of people. I like how you reflect the daily frustrations of people, whether you are in the position of the customer or the Customer Service rep. Great commentary.
