The Star
Stars are falling from the sky
All of them
Shooting from all directions
Except one
Why is that star there?
Why won’t it leave?
It’s stuck there
In the air
All alone
Like a man at sea
In a tiny boat
Surrounded by water
No land in sight
Or a child lost in a mall
Surrounded by faces
Trying to find his mother
But no one will help him
Is that star like me?
Am I stuck in my own little world?
Am I that man at sea?
Am I that lost child?
Why am I stuck here?
Wherever here is
And who will help me?

i really like how you use different examples of how your alone in the world, its a really good peom!
This is a really good poem. I like the imagery you used.
You seem to have found that nature can carry all sorts of connections to our own lives. It's a great thing to discover and you've done a wonderful job in relating a lone star to the various emotions that accompany feeling alone.
I love your poem. Sometimes we all feel alone, but then a friend comes along and reminds us about what is important. Cherish your friends, and you will never be alone. Great writing and keep up the good work.
