The Sacrament of my Mind

My thoughts hit my mind
like rocks on a cobble stone street while I sit and think.
I ponder or admire the power I could have.
My creativity fuels my lust for fame. My word can change a heart.
Turn a demon into an angel and an angel into a demon.
I am at a perfect balance. Although I may shift to one side now and again this power that kindles inside
can persuade me and with this power I will speak.
From the Valley of Death to Kingdom Come I will be heard.
I will climb the tallest mountain.
I will stand where the blood stains the igneous and where the battered skulls camouflage with the immaculate snow.
There is where I will shout. So that every word I speak
has a touch of heaven and hell that rains out.
But until that day I will sit here pondering or admiring the power I will have.

awsome i love it, it is gold, great imagery and awsome use of words. The text and metephors that are used are excellently matched with each word. I give it 7.5 thumbs up.

Great use of vocabulary to show torn emotions and ambivalence about the power that lies within each one of us.
