Obsession
whats this obsession with bodies
I don't get it
girls want these perfect model bodies,
but why cant they celebrate and love their own
I know this because I am one of those girls
with that fantasy
why cant we just focus on school,
our families and our interests
so tell me why because I cant seem
to find the answer in myself

This poem is very true for a lot of girls our age. Its very real. I loved it.
I loved your poem.Since I know you so well I know how you are staying true to yourself.I know that is something that is important to you and I think it is great you were able to write a poem about.I also think it is a very common problem with teenage girls and I think it is something a lot of people can relate to.
I love your poem, and how you're being hoest with yourself. It's good that your writing about it, and I feel the same way.
You touched upon a subject that is always in the media. Many teenage girls feel the same way. Keep smiling!
