Life: Modeled

Life is a molding clay
you shape it any way you like
It is something that is so unique
it is what can only come once.
You can do whatever you want
you could make something wonderful.
Then the pot is made
and admired by all who see it.
It's like the priceless porcelain
everyone wants but cannot have.
Then it will eventually break or be replaced
But in the end you can't fix it.

Hi Ricky,
You do a great job keeping up with this metaphor throughout the poem and making several different comparisons. You definitely capture the idea that life is full of endless possibilities, and it's a little fragile, too! I also like the title--it's unique and made me want to read on.
Keep writing!

I love your poem. It is such a great life lesson. We are all unique and fragile too. Whatever does not hurt or break us, will make us stronger. You have a keen understanding at such a young age. Bravo!
